This motion picture is about Ivan Franko, the classics of the Ukrainian literature. He had a really hard fate. When he was a child, he felt and saw injustice. Over time, the protest to current perceptions orders turned into commitment to democratic ideals. Because of them, he was repeatedly imprisoned, but he didn’t retreat and continued to fight over the means of expression and underground activities. Ivan Franko was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1915, but he died before he could receive this award.
