The story is based on real events in eastern Ukraine in 2014. The stormtrooper commander, call sign Beshoot, was wounded in the battle for the town of Ilovaisk, but the hero still managed to survive. The town's commandant and Russian officer Runkov, who wants revenge, is searching for him.
