The plot is centered on the history of the construction of the capital of Kazakhstan. The Soviet Union collapses, and in the summer of 1994, the state begins its way to independence. It was a time of economic decline and instability in politics. Unexpectedly, the President of the country suggested making Akmola the capital instead of Almaty.
