The pandemic has made adjustments in all competitive disciplines and changed the world forever. CS:GO was no exception: for the first time in history, the Spring Major in Rio was cancelled and moved to Autumn without all participants.

Valve created a regional system Regional Major Rankings, where in a series of tournaments, representatives from 6 regions (Europe, CIS, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania) will compete for points to reach the November Major in Rio.
