The year 2021. Five years ago, a mysterious virus turned humans into bloodthirsty undead. In order to fight the virus, a special unit was created, in which the best soldiers and specialists in fighting the infected were selected. Due to the high employee turnover in the unit, the squad is constantly in need of new soldiers. In order to identify the best, the online video game Dead Trigger has been created, in which participants have the opportunity to practice their skills in real combat conditions. The players' success is monitored by the top management, which accepts the most successful zombie fighters into the squad. A group of these young recruits is sent to a hotbed of infection to find a missing team of scientists.
