CNN is a US-based television channel headquartered in Atlanta. It was founded in 1980 by American entrepreneur Ted Turner. It is a division of CNN Global, which is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. CNN was the first in the world to offer the concept of continuous round-the-clock news broadcasting.
