Level 42 is a British rock band created in 1979. They belong to the new wave, breaking stylistically and ideologically with previous genres of rock. Critics recognized the high mastery of musical instruments to the band, and especially Mark King, who developed his trademark and easily recognizable style. About 30 hits by Level 42 broke into the top ten UK charts.
