James Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006) is considered one the most influential and significant artists of rock-and-roll in the 20th century. Born into a poor family, he earned by theft as a teenager, for which he ended up in prison. Already there, using the means at hand instead of musical instruments, he started singing for the rest of the prisoners. Becoming free, he seriously tried to play sports. A soulful song “It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World” and a catchy song “I Got You (I Feel Good)” made him famous all over the world.
