Grace is a single mother. She's too busy being torn by work, bills, and a married Dr. Hartford to give her daughter the attention she needs so much. When the daughter's English teacher, Ms. Armstrong, introduces her students to classic stories of imminent adulthood, Grace's daughter becomes inspired to continue her life without her mother.
