A group of Russian researchers goes to the far north to find the legendary Lost Land. Their path is long and thorny, but the finding is worth the effort - the expedition discovers an island of ancient nature and people living in isolation. Triumph, however, is marred by the fact that an earthquake is impending, capable of permanently bury the unique place under the ice.
