Life of a 19-year-old Alice Kingsley takes an unexpected turn. At the Victorian party thrown in her honor, Hamish, a rich, but stupid son of Lord and Lady Ascot proposes to Alice. Without giving an answer, the girl runs away and follows a rabbit she has seen it on the lawn. Rabbit looks usual, but he wears a jacket and keeps looking at his pocket watch. Alice chases the White Rabbit through the meadow and sees him disappear down the rabbit hole. Then, suddenly, Alice falls there too, coming down in a strange, fabulous tunnel and landing in a round hall with many doors. After drinking from a bottle labeled "DRINK ME", she decreases in size, and biting from the cake with the inscription "EAT ME", she grows. Finally, after passing a series of misadventures, Alice gets into a wonderful fantasy world that is called the Underground country by its inhabitants. There she will see a parade of colorful characters: boastful Sonya, Mad Hatter, mocking Cheshire Cat, caterpillar named Abessalom smoking a hookah, creepy White Queen and her evil sister, the Queen of Hearts, quarrelsome and irritable Underground ruler of the country.
