Bruce Nolan is a popular television news presenter in Buffalo. He is a pessimist and not interested in anything in this life, even in his girlfriend, Grace, who loves him, in spite of all his meanness. His reports are interesting for everyone except for himself. Bruce's dream is to be the host, and this place is about to be released. But Bruce catches a failure, and he is fired from his job.
