Airplane Dusty, who was already a legend of air races, finds out that his engine is badly damaged, and he will never be able to take part in high-speed air races. Dusty is looking for a new occupation and meets a courageous fire and rescue team, led by veteran aviation helicopter named Ranger. Having found out how difficult and dangerous work of fire aviation is, Dusty will understand what real heroism and dedication is and will want to become a lifeguard too.
