A well-known writer named Joseph Crone, who has lost his wife and child in an accident, is in the center of the plot. To recover from the tragedy, he goes to Europe, to Spain, where his brother Samuel and dying father Richard live. But fate continues to pursue Joseph, and all events are mysteriously linked with the number 11. Joseph becomes obsessed with this number. Having investigated the issue, he discovers that a certain event will occur on 11.11.11 whose information is encoded in the prayer books of various religions of the world. He soon realizes that 11.11.11 is a warning.
