After breaking up with her fiance, Paul Coleman, Anna Taylor gets into a car accident and wakes up in a funeral home. Eliot Deacon says Anna that she is dead and that he needs to prepare the body for the funeral ceremony. Eliot explains that he has a rare gift - the ability to communicate with recently deceased people whose soul waits for departure to the other world. However, Miss Taylor does not believe him, thinking that it is still alive.
