Far to the north, the camp of Inuit nomads is under threat of starvation and extinction. Shaman tribe Krulik is unable to help, and people are in despair. Some of them gain hope in an ancient legend about a distant Sarila - the ground, hidden among the glaciers, where there is no hunger and cold. The legend has it that only those who are pure in heart can get to this sacred place. Three young men agree to go in search of Sarila to save the tribe. Among them there is a young Marcoussis who has shaman abilities. Foreseeing that his power is threatened, the old shaman wants to get rid of his rival using evil forces trying to prevent the mission of three young heroes. Marcoussis gradually realizes that he must not only find Sarila, but also to expose the traitor Krulik...
