The main characters of the film are named after the seven notes – C, D, E and so on. Action takes place in some European Kingdom called Buferia, ruled by fascists and capitalists. After the King dies, prince C seems to be the most suitable candidate to the throne. On his way to the capital he falls from the plane into the river. He miraculously survives and when he reaches the kingdom finds out that the throne is already taken by a barber called G. At first G feels at a loss, but he eventually recollects some passionate phrases and enthrals the leader of fascists F. Gradually G warms to his role and makes statements that are even more daring.
