Returning from a trip abroad, the head of the collective farm find out that all girls are leaving the farm and are moving to the city pursuing a dream to get married. He decides to create a folklore ensemble, promising that the girls will appear on TV, and persuades local authorities to build a livestock farm, to attract new farm labor. And his plans succeeds.
