A 13-year-old schoolgirl Lizzie McGuire and her friends Gordo, Kate and Ethan are planning to have a blast during their school trip to Italy. There she is mistakenly taken for an Italian pop star Isabella. In addition to this, Lizzie falls in love with Izabella’s former boyfriend, Paolo. When Lizzie’s parents find out about that, they immediately take plane and go to Italy. But Izzy is not the same shy teenage girl she used to be. She got into a role to such great extent that actually became a real star.
