Dmytro Banenko, a journalist from Kherson, is in southern Ukraine, where he manages to record secretly details of the townspeople's resistance to the Russian occupation regime. Food and medicine supplies are running low in the city, and people are disappearing or fleeing. In particular, together with his wife, Lidiia, the man tries to save their daughter and decides to escape.
