Julia is a good social mixer, vigorous and easily carried away. She is bored by the school; her grades leave much to be desired. When she meets Kolia, she decides to follow his example. They leave school, and both enroll in the vocational school, hoping to become independent. But ones a misunderstanding happens. Someone closes both of them in the office at evening, while they are preparing for the important event. When they are found there, they are suspected of carnal pleasures. Friends stand up for them, but will it help the main characters to stay in the educational institution?
