In 1941, many residents of Latvia have been separated from their families and from the usual life. They were exiled to the far north, where many died in labor camps, and the others each day struggled to survive in subhuman conditions. After more than sixty years, the surviving participants and witnesses of the events go to Siberia to remember the darkest page in their life, and to leave future generations a strict imperative never to allow such tyrants to come to power.
