Georg Elser needed some 13 minutes to implement his plan. On November 9, 1939, he installed a self-made bomb next to the stage where Hitler usually spoke to the party members. Unfortunately, Führer wasn’t found among the dead after the explosion. He successfully finished his speech and left the stage a few minutes before the blowup.
