The story of Nelly Lenz, a former cabaret singer, who survives a Holocaust but receives serious injuries to her face. After her friend Lena helps her with a plastic surgery she goes to Berlin in search of her husband. When she finally finds him, he doesn’t see her as his wife. Now she has to get to know him and herself better in order to receive the inheritance.
