A rich landlord is having a dinner party with lots of guests. After the dinner, they settle in rooms of the mansion to have a good sleep. The main character has a quiet man Vasily as his roommate. The longer he knows him, the more he realizes that Vasiliy is a unique and interesting companion. The film is based on Turgenev’s ‘Notes of a Hunter’.
