During the prohibition of alcohol in 1932, a thief named Ray Gibson meets a bank employee Claude Banks in one of the underground bars. They accidentally cross the road to local mafia boss. In order to save their lives they must deliver alcohol from the Mississippi to New York. On their way they fall into the hands of local authorities and find themselves in prison.
