The movie is based on real events. In 1970, NASA was preparing to launch a spacecraft called Apollo-13. It is it which has to deliver the astronauts to Earth's satellite for the third time. However, when there was very little to the end, an unforeseen accident happened, which put the crew’s lives on the line.
