Moomintrolls are white, roundish and charming creatures which are descendants of Scandinavian trolls. A lot of adventures and meetings are waiting for them. But besides everything, the watch the rain which foreshadows a falling comet. Altogether they hide in a grotto they found while walking. But the comet doesn’t touch the earth and overflies it. All residents of the earth are saved, and Moomintrolls come back home with their friends. The cartoon is based on Tove Jansson’s novel.
