It is a movie-fairytale about a Russian epic hero Vasiliy Buslaev, son of a Novgorod’s posadnik. He lived in the way he wanted to, he never believed either dreams, or snake thorn, or crow caw. Force and power of Vasiliy Buslaev, son of a Novgorod’s posadnik, who was friends with simple people, made Novgorod plump merchants mad and fearful. He was given a great power by God, and the one who is granted with a lot will have to give a lot as well. A trouble broke out: a ruthless people attacked the Holy Russia and didn’t spare young children and powerless old people, and Vasiliy, a Russian epic hero, became his motherland’s protector. When the merchants learnt that the young man was taking a field to save his land from the enemy, they became extremely happy. Is it really possible to break this great power! But Vasiliy puts an end to various talks and brings his campaign to a glorious end. He returns home as a hero and moreover, brings a wife with him.
