The son of Georgy Makharashvili is a usual peasant, like millions of others. He goes to the front to fight against fascists. When his father finds out that his son is wounded and lies in the hospital, he drops everything immediately and moves on to his child. But when Georgy comes to the hospital, it reveals, that his son is on the front line again. Georgy can`t just turn back and go home so he accompanies the Soviet Army and goes through the entire war. However, Georgy is a man who would like to create instead of destroying, so this great massacre is disgusting for him.
