The late Middle Ages. Time of Crusades and the belief in the power of God and Devil’s deceit. Plague in Europe. Uninhabited cities and villages. And there is no salvation. All misfortunes attributed to witches possessed by the devil. It is easier to deal with witches – they can be seen, they can be put in a cage, they can be executed. And the devil is faceless, it will not be noticed, because he can take even very attractive image. Two wandering knights – Beyman and Helsen – the heroes of the Crusades, were excommunicated and punished, as penance, to deliver a witch to a remote abbey court. To save the earth from the plague, save their souls and help to find the soul of the one in whom the devil has hidden – that mission is worthy of real heroes!
