Ernesto and Maria are a perfect match. But since Ernesto is a workaholic, Maria spends much time with her friends, who, as usual, have a lot of ideas. Disagreements with her husband about having children now or not push Maria to an experiment. During a hypnosis session, Maria falls into a trance and can not come back from it, lingering somewhere in another life. She is a princess of the kingdom of Navarre of the XV century and is waiting for the prince, with whom she is going to get married. To return to Maria, Ernesto has to match her imagination and even speak on a difficult Basque dialect, which the "princess" uses now.
