The story is about the war between Russia and Turkey in 1877. But in the focus are the Balkan Slavs, who lived under Ottoman rule for many years. And so, together with the Russian army, they defeated the Turkish army and moved to Istanbul. Under pressure from the west, the war was stopped, but the Bulgarians extracted their freedom with the blood.
