Lyubotin village after the end of World War II. Residents are coming back home. They try to re-create the destroyed belongings. They are tired from fights and battles. But banderovets destroy their dreams of calm and peaceful life and don’t let them rest without their riots. Also a group of bridge-builders come to the village and its participants get involved in the local situation.
