It is a screening of L. Tolstoy’s novel “Ivan Ilyich’s Death”. The story mocks primitive and materially-oriented lives of functionaries of that time. They live, but they are actually dead inside. The character is one of them, but on the threshold of death from an unknown disease, his soul breaks the chains of everyday life and he transforms radically.
