The times of World War II. The Uralmash plant has an extra urgent mission – to double the production of T-34 tanks. It seems to be impossible, but the plant workers do their best in order to fulfill the plan. One of the workers, Vasiliy, is in the movie centre. He doesn’t only fight with the serious task, but also with his own son who dreams of getting to the front and doesn’t understand that here he is able to bring much more benefits to his country.
