The film is based on the play by Leonid Zorin. When Vladimir Bagrov, a successful capital architect, turns up in the small Siberian town, he meets Tatiana Shulga, a local factory worker. Vladimir is about to leave on a long trip abroad, and due to the delay on the station, his mood gets spoiled.
