Chewbacca

The name is Chewie for short. It is one of the main characters in the Star Wars movie saga. Chewbacca is a member of an endangered Wookiee race from the planet Kashyyyk. It is a humanoid over two meters tall and covered with thick brown fur. He was born to the head of the local Attichitcuk tribe two hundred years before the start of the Clone Wars. The Wookiee lived half of his life on his home planet in love and prosperity. He married a local belle. They had a son, Lumpavarramp. One day Yoda arrived on Kashyyyk to save the planet from separatists. Chewbacca took on the role of bodyguard for the little green guru. After the Jedi's victory, he helped Yoda leave the planet undetected. For this, he was sentenced to death but saved by the pilot Han Solo. It is how Chewbacca got his lifetime duty. Soon they become best friends. Together they escape from representatives of the Empire, acquire the spaceship "Millennium Falcon" and engage in smuggling. He proves himself to be a talented pilot and mechanic. Later the caracter met Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. Chewbacca was a key part of the plan to rescue Princess Leia, playing the role of a captive alien that allowed Han and Luke to infiltrate the prison block on the Death Star. Soon the hero joins the rebels. When Han is arrested on the planet Bespin, Chewie stays with Leia to guard her. After Solo's miraculous rescue, the talented mechanic's life returns to normal. Despite all of life's twists and turns, the friends remain inseparable and loyal to each other.
