The new Grand Prix of Figure Skating season 2022/2023 has started. The first event on the calendar was Skate America in the United States, where gold went to Ilya Malinin in the men, Kaori Sakamoto in the women, Knirim and Fraser in pairs, and Chok and Bates in the dance. The next stage will be held in Canada, as part of Skate Canada.
