Club Brugge suffered a heavy 0-3 home defeat to Borussia Dortmund, with the scoreline remaining level until the 76th minute. The Black and Blues then defeated Sturm Graz 1-0 in Klagenfurt, lost 1-3 to AC Milan at the San Siro, and pulled off a surprise 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at the Jan Breydel Stadium. The Belgian champions have scored only three goals in this stage, with only five other teams having scored less frequently. Over the past three and a half months, Brugge has lost only one away game.
