Canadian public is agitated by a loud assassination. In suburbs of Ottawa the chief of the operation department of the Office of Investigations of the Agency for Customs and Duties of Canada, Vasyl Dryers is found dead. The only one who survived after the assassination of the official is his son – Andrew, a graduate of the financial college. Initial investigations revealed that the murder was committed as revenge by international financial swindlers. Several years ago, Vasyl Dryers managed to prove the guilt of some members of the group in a large-scale fraud and put them behind the bars. Only few of them, including the "boss" - Angela Spring nicknamed Monroe, escaped justice. Andrew resolves by all means to find and punish the perpetrators. He goes to his ancestral homeland - Ukraine. There, as a diversionary move, he enters the National Academy of State Tax Service, but in reality, he is trying to find Andrew Monroe, who is preparing a new "scam century."
