A young lawyer from London has to leave his four-year-old son to go to a remote village in the north of the country. He has to make an inventory of the documents left behind by the deceased owner of the Eel Marsh estate. There he encounters a mysterious woman in black, after which he witnesses a series of deaths... The film features sign language for the hearing impaired audience.
