On his 18th birthday, Johnny Petrie learns that he has inherited the farm in Maine, abandoned for these 18 years since the terrible death of his family at the hands of his own father, the local pastor. In an effort to find changes, Johnny moves to start a new life in his new home. However, starting to dig into the past, he suddenly reveals gruesome details of questionable teachings of his father. Besides this frightening discovery, he realizes that his hasty return revived an ancient evil lurking in the trap of the house, thereby running the sinister ritual that took the lives of his family members.
