Actions tale place at the end of the fifteenth century. Young Leonardo da Vinci is still quite young and is not yet famous for his artistic talent or genius inventive thinking. But the locals know him as a big dreamer and an inventor who designs unusual things. He has quite ordinary friends (Lorenzo and Mona Liza) and unusual too (a talking cat Pado and a wooden robot Tilio). Children of a local rich man often put sands in the wheels with the help of magic, but Leonardo and his friends are resourceful enough to resist them.
