1940, Siberia. The most horrible camp for political prisoners. A small group of convicts managed to escape from this terrible place. Now the way back home awaits them. It's a long, very difficult journey. They have to pass through deserts and mountains and encounter wild animals and strangers. They walk home with the last of their strength, hoping to meet their loved ones.
