The story is about young Mungo, who dreams of saving not only his family, but all the people of his small town, and achieving his dream of playing soccer for his country in the Wilderness Cup, which will be held in Russia. Mungo Morrison is a young mole who is about to go out to work as a miner in his father's mine. But Mungo doesn't really want to work in the mine: he dreams of becoming a professional soccer player. Alas is a mole and cannot play soccer because of the bright lights. He has no choice but to put up with the underground life. However, all is not well here either. After a mysterious accident, the mine is on the verge of closing, and a conniving, gold-obsessed supervillain known as "the boss" is trying to intimidate the townspeople. With the help of his reckless friends, Mungo embarks on an epic adventure full of thrills, fun, and danger.
