The story takes place in the early 1990s, when young Kuzma buys an old Pobeda car. Together with his friend, he travels to Berlin to trade it for a Mercedes, while his companion plans to sell Soviet mannequins in the German capital. There, Kuzma meets a local rock musician who inspires him to pursue a career on the international stage.
