The film follows an FBI agent who was the first to arrest Hannibal Lecter and put him behind the bars. The operation almost cost agent Will Graham his life. He resigns, but is forced to get back to duty with the appearance of a new ruthless serial killer. The investigator turns for help to Dr. Lecter to figure out the murderer’s motives.
