Not long ago, Boog was a perfectly tame bear who had never known life in the wild or aspired to it. The hero spent his entire childhood and youth in the small town of Timberline in the company of a deer girl named Beth.

Boog is completely innocent. Moreover, the bear is very outgoing with his surroundings. However, due to an unfortunate accident, his life is irrevocably changed. Boog is faced with the challenge of surviving the wilderness. But because of his very good character, loyalty to his friends, and responsiveness, he overcomes all obstacles and even makes true forest friends. Among them is the annoying deer Elliot, Boog's best friend.
