Sheriff Woody

Sheriff Woody is a character and the main protagonist of the "Toy Story" cartoon franchise.

Woody is an old-fashioned cowboy doll with a built-in voice player that is activated by pulling a cord. He can say simple phrases like "Reach for the sky!", "You're my favorite deputy!", "There's a snake in my boot!" and "Someone's poisoned the water hole!".

Woody's face is hand-painted, and his waistcoat with cowboy hat are also handmade. He wears an empty pistol holster on his belt. Woody has been Andy's favorite toy since kindergarten. The cowboy has a special place on Andy's bed and is the leader among all the toys in the boy's room. Woody's prototype is the main character from the popular 1950s television show "Woody's Roundup".
